I have found true freedom in Christ and I will help you find it.

There is the adage that “change is the only constant” and most of us would agree that the past few years have been exceptionally turbulent.

The European languages are members of the same family. Their separate existence is a myth. For science, music, sport, etc, Europe uses the same vocabulary. The languages only differ in their grammar, their pronunciation and their most common words. Everyone realizes why a new common language would be desirable.
Soon after, I found true freedom in Christ. Not only from that season, but from past hurts and burdens as well.

To achieve this, it would be necessary to have uniform grammar, pronunciation and more common words. If several languages coalesce, the grammar of the resulting language is more simple and regular than that of the individual languages. The new common language will be more simple. It will be as simple as Occidental; in fact, it will be Occidental. To an English person, it will seem like simplified English, as a skeptical Cambridge friend of mine told me what Occidental is. We now live in an era where, through Jesus, God wants to reveal and manifest himself to the world. In this era, God’s manifested presence is not meant to be rare or uncommon. It’s meant to be poured out everywhere. It’s meant to be a regular occurrence for believers to experience His presence manifested among us.
All these things uphold our freedom in Christ and allow for us to experience God’s manifested presence. Until Christ returns let’s keep walking in these things and in our assignment to help as many as we can to find and experience the freedom we have in Christ.
In the Old Testament God revealed and manifested himself at different times, but generally it was limited to a few and limited to one nation – Israel. In the New Testament we see that through Christ, God has chosen to manifest and pour out His Spirit on all people, from every nation whether young or old.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

I know that I for one have done things in my life that I certainly regret. I think all of us have. As a pastor, I’ve heard many people’s stories about how personal sin ruined their relationships and livelihoods. It’s heartbreaking to witness the collateral damage of sin.

Sometimes the hardest people group to pray for is family, because there may be a lot of history, years of unresolved issues, or perhaps despite your best efforts, it’s unclear how they will ever make the decision to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

Growing up, I was not enamoured with the thought of my own wedding day. For some odd reasons, I wasn’t consumed looking at wedding magazines nor dreamt about the venue or gown I should have at my future wedding.

We often talk about developing a daily habit of prayer and reading God’s Word. But what about worship? How do we practically incorporate worship into our busy schedules and develop a habit of worship?
